PIGMENT™ | Q-SWITCHED ND:YAG
Tattoo Removal, Pigment & Skin Rejuvenation Laser for professional
PIGMENT™ delivers high-peak, ultra-short nanosecond pulses that target unwanted ink and pigment with precision — fragmenting the target while preserving the surrounding skin. One platform, four treatments, one investment.

How does it work?
PIGMENT™ is built around a simple physical principle: deliver energy that the target absorbs strongly and the surrounding skin largely ignores. The laser emits ultra-short, high-peak pulses tuned to wavelengths that ink and pigment absorb far more readily than healthy tissue. Because each pulse lasts only nanoseconds, the energy arrives faster than heat can spread to neighbouring cells — so the target takes the full impact while the skin around it is spared.
When a pulse strikes concentrated pigment, that sudden burst creates a rapid photoacoustic (pressure) effect that fractures the particle into microscopic fragments. The fragments are small enough for the body's own immune system to carry away over the following weeks — which is why results build gradually across a course of sessions rather than appearing all at once.
A flat-top beam profile spreads each pulse evenly across the spot rather than peaking in the centre, helping deliver uniform, predictable energy across the treatment area.
____
Matching the mechanism to the treatment
- For tattoo removal, repeated sessions progressively fragment and fade unwanted ink, with the wavelength chosen to suit the ink colour.
- For benign pigmented lesions, the same selective absorption breaks up excess melanin so the mark lightens.
- For benign vascular lesions, energy is absorbed within the targeted surface vessels.
- For unwanted hair, 1064 nm energy is absorbed along the follicle to reduce regrowth.
- For acne scars and wrinkles, controlled energy supports skin-resurfacing.
Throughout, the goal is the same: deliver precisely enough energy to act on the target while helping preserve the surrounding skin.
Two Working Modes
Q-Switched High-peak, ultra-short pulses interact with unwanted pigment to support effective tattoo and pigment-focused treatments.
SPT (Long Pulse) Gradual energy delivery provides smooth, controlled skin-toning and overall skin-quality enhancement.
In Q-Switched mode, all the energy is dumped in roughly 6 nanoseconds. Cramming energy into such a tiny window produces an enormous peak power — the tall spike. That sudden, violent burst creates a photoacoustic (pressure) effect that physically shatters tattoo ink and pigment into tiny fragments the body clears away. The total energy is modest, but the intensity per instant is huge.
In SPT (long-pulse) mode, the same kind of energy is released gradually over about 300 microseconds — roughly 50,000 times longer. Spread out like that, the peak power is far lower (the short, wide block), so instead of shattering anything it gently heats the tissue. That controlled warming is what stimulates collagen and is used for skin toning and rejuvenation.
