Why order early

Section 179, in plain words

The reason a device ordered now is worth more than the same device ordered in January.

What it is. Section 179 is a US tax rule that lets a business deduct the full price of equipment it buys and starts using during the year, in that same year — instead of spreading the deduction over five or more years. A laser, an IPL or a body-contouring device is exactly the kind of equipment it covers.

The one condition that matters: the device has to be delivered and in use by December 31. Ordered but still in a crate on January 3 doesn't count for 2026. That's why ordering early matters: most orders are fulfilled within about 4 weeks, sometimes around 6, and dates are not guaranteed. The offer is valid until November 30, but an order placed in the last weeks of November may not be delivered in time for the 2026 deduction.

Financing counts. You can finance the device and still deduct the full price this year — the deduction follows the purchase, not the payments.

A practical example

You open your room and buy a Lasera V1 for $25,000, delivered in December 2026. Your business made a profit this year and you pay around 24% federal income tax on it.

With Section 179, the whole $25,000 is deducted from your 2026 taxable income. At 24%, that's about $6,000 less tax to pay next April — the device effectively cost you about $19,000. Without it, you'd deduct roughly $5,000 a year for five years, and get that $6,000 back slowly instead of all at once.

If you financed it with, say, $5,000 down, you'd have paid $5,000 and received a $6,000 tax reduction in the same year.

This is a simple explanation, not tax advice. The deduction depends on your business having taxable income, on the device being used for business, and on the limits in force for the year; your CPA can confirm what applies to you in a five-minute call.
